The Boardroom takes a company of 8 to 20 at one long table behind a closed door, with a large screen at one end for a year-in-review slideshow or the December game. Companies of 21 to 28 use the semi-private option in the dining room, which keeps the group together without the closed door. Both look out over the district from the ninth floor, and in December that means the stadiums lit against an early dark sky.

Companies larger than 28 do not fit here as a single seated party, and it is better to know that now than in November. For a team of 30, the honest choices are two departments on two nights or a different venue. Semi-private seating is arranged in the main dining room, so the group shares the room’s atmosphere and the piano on evenings it plays, and the events team places the tables so the company sits as one block rather than scattered among other guests.

The format: a seated dinner, not a buffet line

The holiday party here is a dinner. Private dining menus are built for each group, and for a holiday crowd of 20 the events team will usually propose a set menu with a choice of two or three entrées, a shared starter course and dessert. Shareable sides suit a long table in December; ask whether they can come to the table family-style.

Per-person pricing for a set holiday menu is not published; it is built to the group and quoted in the proposal. Collect allergies with the RSVPs, since the kitchen wants them before the night.

The bar, the coffee, and the end of the night

A holiday dinner ends better with the after-dinner list than with the check. The Classic Irish coffee is $16 with Jameson, the Keoke $16 with Ferrand 1840 Cognac and Mozart, and the Mexican Coffee $16 with Arette Reposado and Kahlua. Shaken ice cream cocktails include a Brandy Alexander at $18 and a Grasshopper at $17. For a toast, the MCA French 75 is $17 and the Ladies First, with rosé bubbles, is $16.

Coffee service at the end is simple: coffee and hot tea are $4, espresso $5, and a cappuccino or latte $6, which matters for a team driving home to Fort Worth or Dallas afterward.
