The game on the screen and the stadium in the window

The Boardroom is a private room where the broadcast is on the wall and the building it is coming from is in the window. Globe Life Field is about a mile away and AT&T Stadium about a mile and a half, both visible from the ninth floor. The room has a fully integrated AV system with a large screen, and the restaurant’s own description says it is perfect for watch parties where you cheer on the Rangers and Cowboys in their own backyards.

It seats 8 to 20 at a single long table. Everyone faces the same direction when the play matters and turns back to the table when it does not. The door is frosted glass, so the noise of your fourth-quarter stays with your group and the main dining room stays a steakhouse.

Which games fit the hours, and the Sunday problem

Mercury is closed on Sundays, and most Cowboys home games are played on Sundays. A Sunday Cowboys watch party is not possible here, and no amount of planning changes that. What does work is the rest of the schedule: Thursday, Monday and Saturday games, college football Saturdays, and the Rangers’ 81 home dates, most of them evenings with first pitch around 7 PM.

The site does not say if a private group may stay past the posted closing time. Put the game and its start time in your inquiry and let the events team tell you what the room can do that night.

Wings and nachos versus a chophouse table

A sports bar feeds a watch party from a fryer. This kitchen starts with Filet Mignon Cigars at $17, Chophouse Calamari at $17, Savory Meatballs at $18 and the Land & Sea Sampler at $26 per person, which puts calamari, a filet cigar, a crab cake and a shrimp cocktail in front of each seat. Hand-Cut Fries are $11, with truffle oil and Parmesan for $2 more. Then the steaks: the Hand-Cut Ribeye at $75, the 8 oz Center-Cut Filet at $74, the Double-Bone Pork Chop at $59.

Private dining menus are tailored to the group, so a watch party can lean toward shareable starters and sides rather than a formal course structure. Say so in the inquiry.

The bar keeps Manhattan Project drafts from Dallas at $7 to $8, bottles from $6 to $14 including Shiner Bock and Modelo, and cocktails built for a long game: the Hibiscus Ranchwater at $17, the Cowboy Daiquiri at $17 and the Steakhouse Old-Fashioned at $19.

Headcount, minimum and one check

The Boardroom takes 8 to 20. A semi-private option reaches 28, though the AV system and screen belong to the Boardroom, so confirm what a larger group can see before you plan around it. Parties of 10 or more meet a food and beverage minimum set by party size and quoted in the proposal; there are no published dollar amounts. Every Boardroom group gets one check, and a 20% gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more.

Feeds, sound and what to confirm before kickoff

The restaurant publishes that the room has an integrated AV system and a large screen. It does not publish which channels, streaming services or sports packages the room can show, nor the sound setup. Away games and out-of-market broadcasts are the ones to ask about specifically. Name the game, the network and the start time in your inquiry so the answer is exact.

Getting in and out while the district is full

On a game night the stadium lots are the slow part. Mercury sits north of the stadium district on E Lamar Blvd, off the main lots, with free garage and outdoor parking at the Brookhollow Two tower. Highway 360 is about a mile east and I-30 about a mile south, so guests leaving after the final out are pointed away from the crowd rather than through it.
