The AV setup
The Boardroom’s AV system is fully integrated, with a large screen at one end of the room. The restaurant markets it for watch parties, which is a useful signal: it is built to run a broadcast for two hours, so a slide deck or a video call is well within range. The restaurant does not publish input types or conferencing details, so state what you plan to connect, a laptop, a phone or a conference line, on the private dining request, and the team will confirm within 48 hours.
Seating configurations
| Configuration | Seats | Privacy | Screen |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Boardroom, one long table | 8 to 20 | Full; frosted glass door | Yes, large screen |
| Semi-private section | up to 28 | Partial; set apart in the dining room | No |
| Main dining room, 12 or more | by arrangement | None; window wall view | Bar TVs only |
| Booth for 2 to 4 | 2 to 4 | Tufted booth | No |
The long single table is the point for a meeting. Nobody sits with their back to the screen, and the person running the agenda sits at the end nearest it. Twenty is a full room; twelve to sixteen leaves elbow room for laptops and notebooks. The windows behind the table give the room what the restaurant calls the best panoramic view of the district, which makes a better backdrop for a visiting executive than a hotel conference suite.
Planning a lunch meeting
Mercury serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11 AM, and the Boardroom takes lunch bookings. The restaurant does not publish a turn time for meeting lunches, so build the schedule yourself and share it with the team; a plated lunch for twelve moves faster when everyone orders at once and the hard stop is known in advance.

Dinner meetings and the check
Evening meetings run until 9 PM Monday through Thursday and 10 PM on Friday, and the room’s windows face the sunset, so a 6 PM start in October catches it around 7 PM. Any group in the Boardroom is presented one check, no splits, and a 20% gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more, which removes the end-of-meeting arithmetic. Parties of 10 or more meet a food and beverage minimum quoted in the proposal. The board meeting and executive dinner page covers evening formats.
Getting a team there
The tower is at 2221 E Lamar Blvd, about a mile west of Highway 360 and a mile north of I-30, with free garage and outdoor parking on site. From the Arlington Convention Center and Loews it is about 0.6 mile; from Las Colinas about 18 minutes; from downtown Fort Worth about 22 minutes; from downtown Dallas about 25 minutes; from DFW Airport 15 to 20 minutes via 360. Sunday is closed, so a Sunday-night kickoff meeting needs another venue. The private dinner for 20 answer lists the room’s policies in full.

Frequently asked questions
Can I plug a laptop into the screen in the Boardroom?
The Boardroom's AV system is fully integrated, with a large screen at the end of the long table. The restaurant does not list connection types on its website, so say what you will bring, a laptop, a tablet or a video call, on the private dining request and the team will confirm the setup within 48 hours.
Is there a room rental fee for a business meeting?
Room fees are not published. What is published is a food and beverage minimum for parties of 10 or more, quoted in the written proposal, and a one-check policy for the Boardroom. Ask for the full terms when you submit the request or call 817-381-1157.
Can we hold a breakfast meeting at Mercury Chophouse?
No. The restaurant opens at 11 AM Monday through Friday and at 4 PM on Saturday, and is closed Sunday, so the earliest meeting slot is an 11 AM or 11:30 AM lunch. Weekday lunch in the Boardroom is the closest equivalent to a morning working session.
How private is the Boardroom during a confidential discussion?
The room closes behind a frosted glass door lettered Mercury Board Room, separate from the main dining room, and seats the group at one long table. Servers come and go for courses, so plan the most sensitive part of the agenda between courses or after coffee is poured.
Can a group of 6 use the private room for a meeting?
The Boardroom is set for parties from 8 to 20. For six, ask for a booth or a quiet table in the main room, where the piano is the only sound and the window wall makes a good backdrop. If AV is essential, ask the team whether the room is open on your date.
