Three things are certain and one is not. It is a Thursday. The regular Thursday schedule is 11 AM to 9 PM with lunch from 11 and dinner in the evening. The dinner menu is the one published now, and no separate New Year’s Eve menu, prix fixe or midnight seating has been announced. What is not certain is whether the holiday changes the hours. Mercury confirms its holiday schedule each year and does not post it in advance, so the honest instruction is to call 817-381-1157, ask about December 31 specifically, and book once you have the answer. Do not assume a late close; plan the evening around the hours you are given.

January 1, 2027 is a Friday, whose regular hours run 11 AM to 10 PM. Confirm that day too if a New Year’s Day dinner is the plan.

An early table with the lights

December has the earliest sunset of the year in Arlington, about 5:25 PM, and the curved window wall faces it. A 5 PM table on the ninth floor watches the sky go behind AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field and then watches the district light up for the last night of the year: the Six Flags tower, Hurricane Harbor, the hotels along Randol Mill. Request the window when you book; it is requested, not promised. The tufted booths under the blue-lit wall are the second choice. Live piano plays on select evenings; ask whether December 31 is one of them rather than assuming it.

The last dinner of the year

Order like it is the end of something.

Oscar Style with lobster on any steak is $20, and the au Gratin Potatoes ($16) and Burgundy Mushrooms ($15) are the sides for a cold night. The menu guide covers every section of the card.

Something with bubbles

The cocktail list carries three drinks built on sparkling wine: the Bubbly Husband ($17), the MCA French 75 ($17) and Ladies First ($16), which finishes with rosé bubbles over berry coulis. Ask your server about sparkling wine by the bottle for the table. A group to close the year

For a family or a set of couples, The Boardroom seats 8 to 20 at a single long table behind a frosted glass door, with its own window view of the district and a large screen. Semi-private seating extends to 28. Any group in the room receives one check, a food and beverage minimum is quoted in the written proposal, and menus can be tailored. Requests go through the event inquiry form and are answered within 48 hours, so put the request in early in December. Getting there and getting home

Free garage and outdoor parking is at the Brookhollow Two tower, so plan to park in the garage or the outdoor lot and ride the elevator to Suite 910. Confirm the hours when you call. Highway 360 is about a mile east along Lamar and I-30 about a mile south, which puts Dallas and Fort Worth each roughly 25 minutes away outside event traffic. The district may have its own events that night; Mercury sits north of the stadium lots, off the main routes in. Dress is business casual, and a jacket suits the night without being required.
