Ten minutes north of the arena
College Park Center is the arena at 600 S Center St, on the downtown side of Arlington near the UT Arlington campus. Mercury Chophouse – Arlington is north of I-30 in the Entertainment District, on the ninth floor of the Brookhollow Two office tower at 2221 E Lamar Blvd. The two are about 2.5 to 3 miles apart, an 8 to 10 minute drive in normal traffic, and nobody should try it on foot.
The route runs north across I-30. From the interstate, the Ballpark Way exit leads north about a mile to E Lamar Blvd, where the tower stands; Highway 360 north to the Lamar exit is the alternative from the east side of town. Parking is in the tower’s free garage or outdoor lot, and the elevator from the lobby goes to Suite 910.

Arena ceremonies bring families to Arlington in numbers, and a dinner that follows one usually involves more than four people. The private Boardroom seats 8 to 20 at a single long table behind a frosted glass door, with a large screen and a fully integrated AV system for photos or a toast, and semi-private seating extends to 28. One check is presented for the room and for any group of 12 or more in the main dining room, a food and beverage minimum applies to parties of 10 or more, and a 20% gratuity is added for six or more.

Where you sit and what you see
The drive north buys a view the arena side of town does not have. The main dining room is wrapped in a curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows facing west and southwest over the Entertainment District, with the Six Flags Over Texas tower, Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium and Hurricane Harbor in the frame. Sunset arrives around 6:30 PM in early March, 7:55 PM in April and 5:30 PM in November, which puts a 5 PM spring dinner right in it.
The room is white tablecloths, leather chairs, tufted booths, crystal chandeliers and a grand piano by the windows near the bar, with live piano on select evenings. The view page has more, and the downtown page covers the same drive from the other direction.

Away from steak, the Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon is $48, the Grilled Chicken Pasta is $29 and the Tortellini Bolognese is $32, which covers the table’s younger or lighter appetites. The tower’s garage and outdoor lot are the only parking you need to think about, and both are free. Walk through the office lobby, take the elevator to the ninth floor, and the glass doors lettered Mercury Chophouse, Suite 910, are in front of you. Dress is business casual: collared shirts encouraged, jeans without rips welcome, no baseball caps, hoodies or athletic wear, and hats off at the table. Reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday nights and for any date that shares the district with a game.
