Three minutes from the exhibit halls
The Arlington Convention Center sits at 1200 Ballpark Way, with the Loews Arlington Hotel connected to it. Mercury Chophouse – Arlington is about 0.6 mile away on the ninth floor of the Brookhollow Two office tower, 2221 E Lamar Blvd, Suite 910. The drive is about three minutes: up Ballpark Way, signed Nolan Ryan Expressway through the district, until it meets E Lamar Blvd, then east to the tower. A rideshare from the convention center doors takes about as long as the elevator ride up.
If you are staying farther out, Highway 360 crosses Lamar about a mile east of the restaurant, and I-30 is about a mile south at the Ballpark Way exit. The tower keeps its own garage and outdoor lot, and both are free. Guests leaving the convention center’s own lots are out of the district in the first block; the tower faces Lamar, not Ballpark Way.

Semi-private seating runs to 28. The room looks over the district, and the restaurant describes it as the best panoramic view of the Entertainment District in Arlington.
The policies are simple. Boardroom parties and any group of 12 or more in the main dining room receive a single check. A food and beverage minimum applies to parties of 10 or more and is quoted with the proposal, and six or more guests carry a 20% gratuity. Lunch that fits a 90-minute break
The weekday lunch menu is built for people with a badge and a schedule. The Soup & Salad Combo is $16, the Club Sandwich is $14, the Cobb in a Mold is $16 with applewood-smoked bacon and Gorgonzola, and the Chicken Sandwich, grilled or fried, is $15. Each sandwich brings steak fries, a small salad or a cup of soup with it. For a lunch that makes a point, the Wagyu London Broil is $65 with garlic and herb butter potatoes and haricots verts. Steaks are on the lunch menu too, with the Hand-Cut Ribeye at $67 and the Bone-In Ribeye at $82 with Dijon herbal butter.
Say when you sit down that you need to be back on the floor by a certain time. The kitchen paces the courses to it, and the elevator and the three-minute drive are the only other variables.
Dinner when the show floor closes
Evenings are where the ninth floor earns its reputation. The dining room has white tablecloths, crystal chandeliers, tufted booths and a curved wall of floor-to-ceiling glass facing the district and the sunset. Start with the Signature Wagyu & Black Truffle Ravioli at $34 or the Crab Cakes starter at $24. The Center-Cut Filet Mignon is $74 for 8 oz, the Seared Sea Bass is $57, and the Braised Bone-In Beef Short Rib is $82.
The wine list runs deep in Pinot Noir and West Coast red blends, from a $78 Willamette bottle to Opus One at $686, with wines by the glass and bottle. Live piano plays on select evenings; ask which nights when you book. Dessert closes it: the Crème Brûlée is $15 and gluten free, the New York Cheesecake is $15 with berry coulis, and the coffee list includes a Classic Irish at $16.
Dress code for badge-wearers
Business casual is the standard, which is what most attendees are wearing anyway. Collared shirts and sports coats are encouraged for men and a jacket and tie are not required. Graphic T-shirts, baseball caps and athletic wear are not permitted in the dining room, and flip-flops are too casual for anyone.
