A sports bar gives you the game and a basket of wings. A steakhouse usually gives you the steak and asks you to check your phone for the score. Mercury Chophouse is set up to do both, and how depends on how many of you there are.

For two or four people, the bar is the answer: a Steakhouse Old-Fashioned at $19, the game above the back bar, and the full dinner menu. For a group, the Boardroom turns the evening into a watch party with white tablecloths.
The Boardroom as a watch party
The restaurant’s own description of the room is the best summary: a fully integrated AV system with a large screen, perfect for watch parties, where you can cheer on the Rangers and Cowboys in their own backyards. That last phrase is literal. The room’s windows look out at Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium, so the game on the screen is being played about a mile from your chair.
The table seats 8 to 20 in a single long run, which keeps everyone facing the same direction and the screen at one end. Semi-private options extend the count to 28. Menus for the room are tailored to the group, so a watch party can be built as a set menu, a family-style spread of Hand-Cut Fries, Mac-n-Cheese and Brussels Sprouts alongside steaks, or the regular dinner menu ordered individually. One check, and the other house rules
Any group in the Boardroom receives one check; so does a party of 12 or more in the main dining room. There are no split checks, so decide before kickoff who is holding the card. A 20% gratuity is added for parties of 6 or more, and a $25 split plate fee applies if two guests share a composed entrée. The dress code holds on game nights as on any other: business casual, which means jerseys are fine as long as they are not paired with a baseball cap, a hoodie or athletic shorts. Cowboy hats are welcome and come off at the table.
Which games fit the hours
This is the part most watch-party pages skip. The restaurant closes at 9 PM Monday through Thursday, 10 PM Friday and Saturday, and is closed all day Sunday. Games do not respect that.

Can we choose which game plays on the Boardroom screen?
Tell the team which game you want when you submit the private dining request, and confirm it when the proposal comes back. The room has its own integrated AV system, so the Boardroom screen is not tied to what the bar TVs are showing. The restaurant has not published which channels or streaming services it carries.
Is there a minimum spend for a Boardroom watch party?
Parties of 10 or more are subject to a food and beverage minimum based on party size. The amount is not published on the website; it is quoted in the written proposal that follows your request. Groups of 8 or 9 fill the room without triggering that policy.
Can I watch at the bar without booking the Boardroom?
