The restaurant sits about a mile from Globe Life Field and 1.5 miles from AT&T Stadium, and on the nights those buildings are full, the ninth floor fills too.

Saturday deserves its own note. Service is dinner only, from 4 PM to 10 PM, so every Saturday guest is squeezed into six hours, and the sunset tables fill first.
When walking in tends to work
Weekday lunch is the clearest window. Service starts at 11 AM, the room turns over as business lunches finish, and the menu is built for it, with a $17 Chophouse Burger, a $14 club sandwich and a $24 chicken fried steak alongside lunch-priced steaks. Early weeknight dinner is the next best bet, before the 7 PM rush that a Rangers first pitch brings to the whole district.
The bar helps at any hour. It is marble-topped, has a full back bar and TVs, and sits beside the grand piano and the windows, so waiting for a table there is no hardship. Ask the host whether you can order at the bar while you wait.
Sunset is the exception at the other end of the day. Even on a quiet Tuesday, the tables along the west side of the window wall are the first ones spoken for as the light drops, so a walk-in party at 7 PM in September should expect to sit away from the glass.
When to reserve without a second thought
Friday and Saturday nights, always. Any evening the Cowboys play on a Thursday, Monday or Saturday, and the Friday and Saturday nights before a Sunday home game, when the district’s hotels are full. Rangers home dates, which are mostly evenings. Concert nights at either stadium. The hour before sunset, which in September is around 7:35 PM and in November closer to 5:30 PM, when the west-facing window tables are the first to go. Any party of six or more. What a reservation adds that a walk-in cannot
Beyond the table itself, a reservation carries a note. It can record that it is an anniversary, that you would like the window, that someone at the table has a shellfish allergy, or that you must be in your seats at Globe Life Field by first pitch. A walk-in party gets the next open table and whatever the room has left. The reservations page explains what to include when you book.
It also lets the kitchen and the host plan. A party of six or more carries a 20% gratuity and a group of 12 receives one check; both are easier to handle when the room knows you are coming. And a reservation can carry a request for the west-facing window, or a note about a milestone birthday, that a walk-in cannot.
If you arrive without one
Call from the parking lot before you ride the elevator to the ninth floor; the host can tell you the wait in real terms. If the answer is long, the bar is the first option. If the room is full, the sister restaurant, Hearsay – Arlington, is inside Choctaw Stadium about 0.7 mile south, though its seating policy is its own and worth a call. Parking is free either way, so there is no cost to pulling up.
