How many, and where they sit
Reunions have a way of growing between the first email and the night itself. Cousins bring partners; somebody’s flight changes. So the first question to settle with the restaurant is the ceiling, and here it is 28.

The Boardroom has a fully integrated AV system with a large screen, which is where the scanned slides of the grandparents’ wedding end up. Semi-private seating for 21 to 28 is described on the semi-private dining page. Both are requested through the same form, and a reply with a proposal comes within 48 hours.
A menu that works across three generations
A reunion table has an uncle who wants the biggest steak on the menu, a niece who does not eat red meat and a grandmother who wants something soft and familiar. Private dining menus are tailored to the group, so tell the restaurant about the table when you send the request rather than the night of.
From the standing dinner menu, the spread is wide enough to cover most families. Grilled Chicken Pasta at $29 and Tortellini Bolognese at $32 handle the guests who want comfort. Chicken Saltimbocca at $42 and Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon at $48 sit in the middle. The 6 oz Center-Cut Filet Mignon at $62 is the steak most of the table will order, and the Dry-Aged 36 oz Porterhouse at $175 is for the uncle. Sides are shared and family-sized: Whipped Potatoes at $14, Mac-n-Cheese at $15, Creamed Spinach at $16, Broccolini at $17.
Two dietary notes. The Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Torte are marked gluten free, and steaks are naturally so, though sauces vary. There is no dedicated vegetarian entrée, but the kitchen can build a plate from sides and salads if you say so when booking. One check and the other policies
The one-check rule is the policy families most need to hear in advance. Any group in the Boardroom, and any party of 12 or more in the main dining room, receives a single check. There are no split checks, so decide beforehand whether the reunion fund covers it, whether a few relatives are hosting, or whether each household will pay its share to one person afterward.
Parties of 6 or more carry an added 20% gratuity. Parties of 10 or more meet a food and beverage minimum set by head count, and the dollar figure comes with the proposal, not on the website. A $25 fee applies to splitting a composed entrée, which matters when two smaller appetites share a filet. Deposit and cancellation terms are also set out in the proposal.
The Sunday problem
Reunions love Sundays, and this restaurant is closed on them, every week of the year. That is the single most important scheduling fact to know. The workable nights are Friday, when the doors are open from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday, from 4 PM to 10 PM, dinner only. Parking is free both nights.
A weekday reunion lunch is another route. Monday through Friday the lunch menu starts at 11 AM, with sandwiches from $14, a Chicken Fried Steak at $24 and a 6 oz filet at $54, and the Boardroom can be booked for a midday gathering the way it is booked for a lunch meeting. Getting relatives here from hotels and the airport
Out-of-town family usually stays in the Entertainment District, and from the Loews Arlington Hotel or Live! by Loews the restaurant is under a mile, a 3-minute drive. DFW Airport is about 12 miles up Highway 360, 15 to 20 minutes outside rush hour. Relatives driving in from Dallas cover about 20 miles on I-30; from Fort Worth, about 17.
Everyone arrives at the same door: the Brookhollow Two office tower at 2221 E Lamar Blvd, free garage or outdoor parking, then the elevator to the ninth floor and the glass doors marked Suite 910. For older relatives, the elevator ride and the flat floor from the lobby matter, and the leather chairs in the dining room are easier on a long evening than a bar stool.
The photo everyone takes
Reunion dinners end with a group picture, and here it is taken at the curved window wall, nine floors up, with the district behind: Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium and the tower at Six Flags Over Texas. Book the dinner so the family is seated 45 minutes before sunset, which ranges from about 5:25 PM in December to 8:35 PM in June, and the picture gets the light. Is there a children's menu for a family reunion dinner?
The restaurant has not published a children's menu. Private dining menus are tailored to the group, so list the number and ages of children on the inquiry form and ask what the kitchen can do. From the regular menu, Grilled Chicken Pasta at $29 and the shared Mac-n-Cheese at $15 are the usual answers.
Can we hold the reunion dinner on a Sunday?
No. The restaurant is closed every Sunday with no exceptions. Friday runs 11 AM to 10 PM and Saturday 4 PM to 10 PM, dinner only, so most reunions book Saturday night. A weekday lunch from 11 AM is the other option for families arriving early.
Can we bring our own cake for a reunion?
