Down 360 to Lamar
From Southlake or Colleyville the route is one road. Take Highway 360 south, exit at E Lamar Blvd in Arlington, and head west about a mile. Mercury Chophouse – Arlington is on the ninth floor of the Brookhollow Two office tower at 2221 E Lamar Blvd, Suite 910, with a garage and an outdoor lot at the tower and an elevator from the lobby. Parking at the tower is free.

Those are normal-traffic figures. On Cowboys, Rangers and concert nights the last mile through the Entertainment District slows, so leave 15 minutes earlier than the table suggests.
What you get for the drive
Southlake and Colleyville have steak options of their own, so the reason to drive 20 minutes is the room. Mercury’s dining area is nine floors up with a curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows facing west and southwest over the district: the Six Flags Over Texas tower, Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium and Hurricane Harbor, with the sunset landing in the glass around 8:15 PM in May and 7:00 PM in October. A grand piano sits by the windows near the bar, with live piano on select evenings.
The rest is a classic chophouse: white tablecloths, leather chairs, tufted booths, crystal chandeliers, a glass-front wine wall at the entrance, and warm bread with garlic butter on the table before the menu is open. Pair it with a game or a show
For families in the northern suburbs, an Arlington night often means a ticket. AT&T Stadium is about 1.5 miles and 5 minutes from the restaurant, Globe Life Field about 1 mile and 4 minutes, and Texas Live! about 0.8 mile. Dinner on the ninth floor before a 7 PM Rangers first pitch means a 4:45 reservation on a weeknight; before a Saturday concert, book 4:30, since the restaurant opens at 4 PM on Saturdays.
The one date that does not work is Sunday, when Mercury is closed, and most Cowboys home games are Sundays. The cuts worth 22 minutes
Top of the list is the 27 oz Wagyu Long Bone Ribeye, $210, with crispy onion strings and Dijon butter on the side; it is the cut people mean when they search for a tomahawk. The 8 oz Wagyu Filet is $105 with herbal compound butter. The Bone-In Ribeye is $90, the Center-Cut Filet Mignon is $62 for 6 oz or $74 for 8 oz, and the Dry-Aged 36 oz Porterhouse is $175 with bone marrow confited shallots.
For the non-steak seat at the table, the Seared Sea Bass is $57 over corn risotto and becomes Imperial for $20 more with jumbo lump crab and grilled Gulf shrimp. Any steak can go Oscar Style with lobster for $20 more. The Double-Bone Pork Chop is $59 with thyme, onion and bacon jam. Splitting a composed entrée costs $25, and tables of six or more carry a 20% gratuity.
Wine and whiskey for the one who is not driving
The wine wall at the entrance holds a list deep in Pinot Noir and West Coast red blends: Ken Wright from the Willamette Valley at $78, The Prisoner at $85, Cain Five at $248, Quintessa at $525 and Opus One 2022 at $686, plus Bordeaux, Barolo, Brunello, Rioja and Mendoza Malbec. Wines are poured by the glass as well as the bottle.

Hours are 11 AM to 9 PM Monday through Thursday, 11 AM to 10 PM Friday, 4 to 10 PM Saturday, closed Sunday. A 7 PM Friday reservation has you back on 360 north by 9:30 and home in Southlake before 10.
