Visiting Arlington? Game Day, Concert Night, Convention and Hotel Dining at Mercury Chophouse

Out-of-town guests can reach Mercury Chophouse – Arlington in about five minutes from AT&T Stadium, four from Globe Life Field and three from the convention center and Loews Arlington. One thing to know first: the restaurant is closed on Sundays, so Cowboys game-day dinners here are for Thursday, Monday and Saturday games and for the nights around a Sunday game.

Arlington’s calendar is built around events. The Rangers play 81 home dates, the Cowboys draw the largest crowds in the league, the two stadiums host stadium-scale concerts, and the convention center and the Loews hotels bring in conferences through the working week. Each of those brings a different dinner question: how early to sit before kickoff, whether an after-game meal is possible, where to take a client, how to feed a team of twelve on one check.

The pages below answer those questions one at a time, with timing tables built around the restaurant’s actual hours: 11 AM to 9 PM Monday through Thursday, until 10 PM on Friday, 4 PM to 10 PM on Saturday, and closed on Sunday. Where a plan does not work, for instance a late dinner after a Tuesday night game, the page says so and suggests the version that does.

Frequently asked questions

How early should I book before a game?

For a 7 PM first pitch at Globe Life Field, a 5 PM reservation leaves time for a full dinner and a short drive. For a Saturday or Thursday Cowboys kickoff, sit down two and a half to three hours ahead; stadium traffic adds real time to a five-minute drive.

Can I eat after the game?

On Friday and Saturday the kitchen runs until 10 PM, so a dinner after an afternoon game or an early concert works. Monday through Thursday the restaurant closes at 9 PM, which rules out most post-game dinners on weeknights.

Is there a dress code visitors should know about?

Business casual. Unripped jeans and collared shirts are welcome; graphic T-shirts, ball caps, athletic wear and flip-flops are not. Fans coming from a game are welcome as long as the outfit meets that standard.

Do you take groups on game days?

Yes, with notice. The Boardroom seats 8 to 20, semi-private seating goes to 28, and groups of 12 or more are presented one check. Use the private dining request form and allow up to 48 hours for a reply.
